Free Marketing for Rescues and Shelters

If you are a Pit Bull friendly rescue or shelter we would be happy to provide your service with additional exposure to help you in your cause. At the American Pit Bull Registry ( APBR ) we offer two programs to assist you in your cause.

First we offer a link/information posting service. With this program we will be happy to place a link to you and place your Pit friendly rescue, shelter or humane organization in the rescue/shelter section of our Web site. This will not only provide you with a considerable level of referred exposure but will also help dramatically improve the rank and relevancy status within all the major search engines. Reciprocal links are not required for this but are appreciated.

One of the major tools used in search engine optimization used to help evaluate relevancy in a search engine is related reciprocal links. When a site has a link from another site that shares a related topic a search engine gives a significantly higher relative weight to both sites based on shared concepts and keywords used by individuals when they make search engine queries.

If you would like to make a link request you may use the form located here.

The second way we offer assistance to Pit friendly rescues and shelters is through free add placement within our APBR Resource Network . With this service we do however place the condition that the dog listed be determined by the recue or shelter to be pure-bred American Pit Bull Terrier or American Staffordshire Terrier. Our APBR Resource Network is a service dedicated specifically to pure bred Pit Bulls and their American Staffordshire Terrier coonterpart. People who use our APBR Resource Network are coming to this service specifically for the reason that we limit dog inclusion to the American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier dog breed.

At the APBR Resource Network individuals can sign up to assist in both permanent and temporary re-home service, as volunteers and transport providers. We do encourage shelters, rescues and individuals with Pit Bulls in need to contact these individuals but to keep such contact specific to pure-bred American Pit Bull Terriers and their counterpart American Staffordshire Terrier ( Am Staff ) dog breed. We ask such requests be limited to only those pure bred as the Pit Bull dog breed is the breed in greatest need and the purpose of our service is to provide them with the greatest level of assistance as they are the breed with the least level of resources available to them. For individuals and organizations that do not feel they can follow this simple request we respectfully ask to refrain from such contact for risk of being banned from future service use.
